The owner and founder of X2 Baseball, Luke Hagerty is a left handed pitcher formerly selected in the first round of the 2002 draft. In 2003, Luke underwent Tommy John surgery followed by a tough exit from the game. However, this did not keep him from working hard. After getting his Bachelors degree from Arizona State University, he went on to build X2 Baseball, all while believing that he could still pitch at the highest level. Sixteen and a half years later, the Chicago Cubs resigned Luke to a minor league deal, proving his ability to pitch never really left him. Once again, Hagerty will suit up for the team that originally drafted him in 2002.
